Cancellation & Refund Policy — Edinburgh Art Workshop

  1. Definitions
    “Start date” means the date of Session 1 of the 8-week course you booked.

  2. Cooling-off
    If you booked online, a statutory 14-day cooling-off period may apply unless the course begins within that period and you request to start sooner. (If in doubt, email me and I’ll clarify.)

  3. Refund windows

  • 40+ days before start: Full refund to original payment method.

  • 27 – 30 days before start: 50% refund or 100% credit toward a future course (your choice).

  • 0–20 days before start: Credit only (no cash refund), as materials/room costs are already committed.

  • After the start date / no-shows: No refund or credit.

  1. Credits

  • Valid for 12 months from issue date.

  • Redeemable against any EAW class of equal value; if the new class is higher priced, you can pay the difference.

  • Credits are non-transferable to cash.

  1. Transfers

  • You may gift or transfer your booking to another person at any time before Week 1 at no additional cost. Please email their name and email so I can update the register.

  1. Course changes by EAW

  • If I need to postpone the whole course (illness/venue issues), you can choose a full refund or a credit.

  • If a single session is rescheduled, an alternative date will be offered; if you can’t attend, I’ll provide materials/notes: I will usually add extra dates to make up for the cancelled ones and offer a free zoom catch up - I will also send out an email about this before I change any dates to make all students aware. Any issues - please get in touch and I will try to accomodate.

  1. Compassionate exceptions
    Life happens. If you experience a serious medical or personal emergency, email me—I’ll do my best to help within the limits of costs already incurred.

  2. How to cancel
    Email hello@edinburghartworkshop.com with your name, course date, and request (refund/credit/transfer). Your request date is the timestamp of your email.
